Die schönen Taschen von THE JACKSONS sind auf jeden Fall ein Hingucker, egal ob am Strand, zum Einkaufen oder für den Alltag. Die Tasche ist auf jeden Fall ein must-have.
Die Tasche sieht nicht nur toll aus, sondern unterstützt auch ein Mega Projekt. Eine Beschreibung findet ihr weiter unten. Die Taschen werden in Kooperation mit Frauen in Bangladesch hergestellt. Das Projekt zielt darauf ab, die einheimischen Frauen zu unterstützen und Ihnen Zugang zu Gesundheit und Bildung zu gewährleisten.
Jede Tasche ist handgemacht aus Jute und ein Unikat, daher kann sie in Form, Farbe und Maßen ein wenig variieren.

Die wunderschönen und langlebigen handgefertigten Jute-"Worttaschen" von The Jacksons sind ein erfreuliches Ergebnis der Zusammenarbeit zwischen Louise und den geschickten Kunsthandwerkern im Südwesten Bangladeschs.
Die Partnerschaft begann 2012, und The Jacksons arbeiten inzwischen eng mit über 3000 Frauen in Bangladesch zusammen, in einem Gebiet, in dem es nur wenige Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten für sie gibt. Wir tun mehr, als nur eine Marke zu entwerfen und zu kreieren: Wir bemühen uns, die Armut zu überwinden und die soziale Stellung der Frauen zu verbessern.
Durch diese dynamische Zusammenarbeit haben sie nun Zugang zu kostenloser medizinischer Versorgung und Schulen. Unsere Frauen werden direkt bezahlt, was ihnen Unabhängigkeit und Status verleiht und sie in die Lage versetzt, Entscheidungen innerhalb der Familie zu treffen.
Ein großer Prozentsatz der Frauen bildet ihre Töchter bis zur Oberstufe aus und einige besuchen die Universität. Dies war noch vor sechs Jahren undenkbar, und Louise besucht das Projekt regelmäßig, um sich vor Ort von den Vorteilen zu überzeugen.

Astrid Sørensen
